Roads in and around Downtown Affected by the Holiday Parade

"GREENSBORO, NC (Nov. 24, 2015) – The “Holiday Parade” on Saturday, December 5th, will affect traffic in and around downtown from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Vehicular traffic will be prohibited on:
·         East Market Street from Eugene St. to Church St.
·         Murrow Boulevard from Greene St. to Lindsay St.
·         Greene Street from Market St. to Fisher Ave.
·         Fisher Avenue from Murrow to Greene St.
·         Murrow Boulevard from Greene St. to Lindsay St.
·         Elm Street from South Park Dr. to February One Pl.
·         Smith Street from Battleground Ave. to N. Elm St.
·         Lindsay Street from Paisley St. to Murrow Blvd.
·         Bellemeade Street from Commerce Pl. to Summit Ave.
·         Friendly Avenue from Greene St. to Murrow Blvd. 
·         Davie Street from February One Pl. to Summit Ave.


Motorists can expect intermittent closures along the route (see map) from 8:00 am. - 3:00 pm to allow parade participants to safely pass through the route.  Motorists are also reminded that pedestrians have the right of way, and are asked to use caution where parade onlookers are present."
