.38 Special coming to the Cone Denim Entertainment Center in December

Southern Rockers, 38 Special will perform Dec. 13 at the brand new Cone Denim Entertainment Center (CDEC), located at 113 South Elm St. in downtown Greensboro.

We are very pleased to have .38 Special performing at the Cone Denim Entertainment Center", said CDEC President Rocky Scarfone. "Their hits over the past three decades makes them an artist that attracts a wide age group of fans and brings back a lot of memories for their fans.”

Since their beginnings in Florida, .38 Special has always had a southern flavor, with founding member Donnie Van Zant hailing from the same musical family as the original members of the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd. Their breakthrough came with “Hold On Loosely”, and was quickly followed by “Caught Up in You” (#1 on Billboard's Popular Music Chart) and “If I'd Been the One” (also #1) which went on to become popular classic radio staples. The band has produced 13 studio albums which have sold over 10 million units to date worldwide and placed seven singles in the Billboard Top 40, such as “Second Chance” (#1), “Back Where You Belong”, “Rockin' Into the Night”, and “Teacher Teacher.”

Tickets for all of the performance will be on sale 10am Fri, Oct. 31 at all TicketMaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone 800-745-3000.
